I Like Music Because heading
  • Sarah ChristineSarah Christine: ilikemusic because... Music is like a puzzle. Each peice by itself is unique and looks like no other puzzle peice, but when you put it all together, you expeirience a completely different picture. It's on an almost daily basis that I find myself getting lost in my music, and I love it!

Pendulum Chat To I Like Music

Paul: I've been listening to these dudes from L.A called The Glitch Mob. They play this sort of futuristic hiphop. It's hard to explain really, but you should check them out! I met them at the Burning Man festival actually. This bus went past and it was heaving with all these people. I was like "What is that music?" and I jumped on the bus. And that was it. Cut a long story short, we played in L.A earlier in the year and it turned out they were our support act! So I was like "Oh man! Where have you been all my life!" Haha!

ILM: What about live gigs? Out of all the ones you have seen, which will you never forget?

Paul: I went to see Mars Volta a couple of years ago with their original drummer Jon Theodore. My jaw was on the floor. It inspired me to get back on the drums again. I hadn't drummed for a while, I'd been DJing as I'd got a bit bored with it. I'm primarily a drummer. Someone told me to go and check them out and I saw them at the Electric Ballroom. They absolutley blew me away. They played for three hours! I was just like "Woah. Cop a load of that!" Awesome stuff. That was definitely a musically inspiring moment. I saw Led Zeppelin a few years ago. Well, most of them anyway. Perry and I went to the soundcheck. They're the real deal. You can't argue with that.
