Pendulum Chat To I Like Music

ILM: What do you enjoy the most about playing live?

Perry: For me, and I know it is a bit cliched, but I love the roar of the crowd. Everytime I hear it, it gives me goosebumps.

Paul: When the intro tape goes off and the crowd make that noise, it hits you every time. You think the novelty would wear off but it just doesn't. That's a buzz. It really is a buzz.

ILM: When you look back at your career so far, what are your personal highlights?

Paul: Doing Radio 1 Big Weekend was a real pivotal moment. We were doing alright up until then, we knew something was happening, but that was the first time we had played infront of a real, mutual audience. Rather than a bunch of Pendulum fans. Up until then we knew it would go off every night, but Radio 1 was a cross over of music fans. We went on and it absolutley took off! That was a real bench mark for us.
