Perry: Don't give up.
Paul: Keep writing songs.
Perry: If you are going to make it, you are going to make it.
Paul: There's plenty of room for everyone.
Perry: You might need some talent. A lot of it is being in the right place at the right time. But if you perservere something will happen.
Paul: There's people out there who can't play or sing for the love of life, but they can write good songs. There's a lot of examples. I'm not going to say any! Write good tunes at the end of the day.
Perry: If it is a good song it will be popular. People like good songs.
ILM: Pendulum working together...
Perry: We're waiting for our new studio. It's about four weeks until that is done. Now that we've got that space I'm sure it will be different from the last albums. On the last album, even though a lot was done in a little bedroom, we utilised Olympic Studios to record the drums and other studios to record brass, but now I think we can do everything. Quite self contained really.
