ReCoup chat to I Like Music

Mat: Blimey, how long have you got? I guess the way most bands do it, starts out with just a seed of an idea, maybe a beat, some chords on a keyboard, a guitar idea and things just develop, There's no right or wrong, some good, some bad, that's the whole beauty of making music.

ilm: Loads of people are using the Internet these days and getting their music out there before even getting a record deal. How has the Internet affected you guys?

Pieter: The internet changed the whole music industry and the change is still on-going. It make's it possible to do a lot of things on your own. On one side tough though, there is a lot of stuff out there so it is just as difficult to get noticed. The music business is a very fragmented industry and the internet has possibly made it even more fragmented. I'm not complaining though as I totally embrace the fact that you can showcase, promote and sell your work to anybody, anywhere in the world at anytime of the day and people can get immediate "delivery" of your goods right there, wherever they are. I can't think of another industry that has this luxury.
