ILM: After being signed to Jive Records for your third album you bought yourself off that label. You are now founder and CEO of Konichiwa Records. Have you enjoyed that, now that you have artistic control back? What would your advice be to other artists?
ROBYN: I don't think there is one solution for everyone. Everyone needs to figure out for themselves what they want to do. I wouldn't give anyone advice. I think for me the whole pressures of starting my label and setting up my situation….well, it hasn't been a straight road, and the trick is that you need to be aware its gonna take time, you have to make new decisions every day, you need to not look at the results and be present in the moment and see what it is that you need to do right now that makes sense to you.
