SWAY chats to I Like Music
ILM: So you're a perfectionist, like a lot of creative people.
SWAY: Definitely man. I'm a Virgo as well so…
ILM: Of all the tracks on your This Is My Demo album, which one did you have the most fun laying down?
SWAY: I'll do the opposite and say Pretty Ugly Husband was the most depressing song we ever done. [The track that sees Sway adopting the persona of a husband within a violent and abusive relationship]. The girl in it, LaToya, who plays the part of the wife, literally cried all the way through it, because it touched her so much. We recorded that song with the lights off and everything to try and get into that situation, to try and get into that world.
ILM: Well it certainly worked!
