SWAY chats to I Like Music

SWAY: Logic. I love Logic man. A lot of people have moved to Pro Tools from Logic, but I've stayed with Logic. Most of the big studios use Pro Tools which is becoming a bit of a problem for me, because I'm on Logic so I've got to transfer things all the time. But my computer and Logic man, I always need a sequency programme, because I'm not the world's greatest musician, but I can appear to be once I have a lot time and the editing facilities.

ILM: Well, it's brilliant that you've honed your production skills from such an early age. I mean you are genuinely involved right from lyric and idea to when it's released. That must be a nice feeling?

SWAY: It is definitely man. It's very satisfying. I did a performance recently at a festival in Prague and performed in front of 20,000 people, and to see my music come from such a small scale of me just playing it to friends, 20,000 people all moving simultaneously to my music. It's crazy for me man, it's still all really sinking in. And every time I get to grips with things and it sinks in, something else crazy happens in my life, for example the whole album as soon as it was done, and did the second album, and then I got the Mercury nomination, then I got the two Mobo nominations, so it's like Woh, back to this unbelievable level again, and it keeps on going. And the people who are reaching out to me I'm a massive fan of.
