ILM: So it takes you on a journey when you listen to them?
SEAN: Yeah, exactly. That's exactly what I try to do for myself, not with all the songs, but with a lot of them I do.
ILM: The album was recorded and engineered by Tom Biller and you produced it yourself. Is there anything you learned from him about making music while doing the album that stands out?
SEAN: It really just came down to my record budget. I'd run out of the record budget. I did a record with a producer and the good producers eat up the budget, so I didn't have any budget left to produce this record, so I had to produce it myself.
