Sean Lennon chats to I Like Music
SEAN: Well, they're all really talented. Basically I was just trying to, with very small funds, make something that looked really high quality, and that was my goal, to make something that looked like an actual film. So in order to do that, besides getting good clothes and good sets, I had to get really good actors.
I'm lucky that a lot of my friends are in the entertainment industry. I was very lucky that they all agreed to do it. But that was in order to make it feel good, like an actual film as opposed to some amateur thing.
ILM: How did you and Carrie and you and Lindsay become friends?
SEAN: Well Carrie I know through Harper Simon who used to be married to Paul, so I've known her for years. And Lindsay I've known for a few years as well, because she was friends with Bijou. I haven't known her as long. But I just felt like Lindsay is a kind of controversial character and does a lot of films, but I felt like I had a chance to feature her in a way she hadn't been featured before, to show a different side to her. So I kind of wanted to take advantage of the fact she's a very talented actor but also to try to do something different, and show her in a light she maybe hadn't been shown before.
