Sia chats to I Like Music

However, I'd just finished making a video for this really small band called Lavender Diamond who are on Matador and they're sooo cute. I'd been bored because I knew I wasn't going to be doing any promo or touring until September, so I sent out the videos I'd made and said if you like any of them send me some songs, just to my friends in the music industry, because I want to make some videos in this hiatus. So four bands sent me their songs, but I really liked that Lavender Diamond song and I treated on it and I got it. So I'd just made a video for them for five grand, but it was a real struggle, and really stressful because nobody really wants to work on a video for that, because nobody gets paid, because all that money goes on permits to where we shot it and insurance and cops and things like that. But it was a passion project, and I feel like that was the best one I've made since Breathe Me. That just goes to show that it doesn't really matter how much money you've got, it's about the energy behind the shoot. So yeah, Pictures was wicked, sorry I know I'm supposed to keep on the f***ing live album subject.
