Sia chats to I Like Music

ILM: You've also started three new projects: a nursery rhymes album with Larry Goldings, a covers album with Har Mar Superstar and a gospel album with Fabrizio Moretti Can you tell us a little about each?

SIA: F*** knows is they'll actually ever happen. I think me and Faz were in the car and I don't think he knew any of my work because we didn't meet through music, we met through mutual friends. One of the first times I remember we were just driving and I sang along to something really loudly and nearly blew his ear drum out of his head, and I remember he was like, 'wow you've got a great voice,' and I don't think he even knew I was a singer. Then over the next few weeks I'd sing loudly and he asked me to play on the new album. I'd been getting dribs and drabs emailed to me from Jimmy the producer for the new album that's out in September, and so I played him some of that and he said "I need you, I've been writing these gospel songs I don't want to sing them, I need you to write words, I think my words are sh*t, I've got these tracks and I want you to be a part of it."
