Simple Plan chat to I Like Music
ILM: Your self titled album on February 18 2008 through Lava/Atlantic Records, which track did you enjoy laying down the most and why?
CHUCK: It was a great process, it was really hard to put this album together to figure out where we wanted to go with it, that was difficult, but once it came down to actually tracking it in the studio it was really easy and fun. I think one of the songs we had the most fun on was Generation, because it was the most different. It was a nightmare to figure out but, once we'd got it done, it really stood out. I remember coming back with a non-mixed version and going 'man this song is just so rad and special'. And it was such a crazy process; we had to record it in Sweden, in Miami, Montreal and LA, in four cities, so it was just out of control.
