DJ YODA: Only if it's organic or locally sourced of course!

STEREO MCs: Did you film the old lady in your visuals specifically? Do you know her? Is it your nan? :-)

DJ YODA: Ha-ha, no, like most stuff In my AV shows, it's just the result of some extensive YouTube digging!

STEREO MCs: What are you planning for the new album?

DJ YODA: It's definitely sounding very different to the last album - much less hip-hop and much more uptempo. It's musically informed by all the weird global dance music I'm checking out at the moment - baile funk, dancehall, dubstep, kuduro, cumbia - whatever!

STEREO MCs: Do you find it hard to transfer what you do live into making a record?

DJ YODA: No - I tend to make stuff that's influenced by what I've been listening to recently.

STEREO MCs: What are the guilty pleasures in your record collection?

DJ YODA: I don't think there's such thing as a guilty pleasure musically - it's snobbish to say that I enjoy 5 Star any less than Gang Starr!

STEREO MCs: Did you know at Bestival three years ago you dj'd before us and unplugged everything! There was no sound engineer NEARBY so we had to guess how to set up! Explain yourself?!!!!

DJ YODA: Did it on purpose to mess you guys up - I knew if you had a bad start then it would make my set look better!

STEREO MCs: Can we have one of the famed DJ Yoda t-bags?!!

DJ YODA: Not sure if you're confusing me with someone else or if you mean DJ Yoda popcorn (which is really out there and available!) - either way, sure thing.
