ILM: Your new single, Blackened Blue Eyes is out now. We think it's brilliant. It's kind of heavy. Can you give us your own personal description of it?
MARTIN: The band's always a bit susceptible to a good riff. And Blackened Blue Eyes formed one of the days writing sessions about 1am with me and Tony. It was something loud and brash and we refined it the next morning and sent it over to Tim and Mark with a bunch of other stuff and it stood out, so Tim wrote the lyric over the top.
TIM: Sometimes you have to try and enjoy it, because you know that your mates will, but this one started straight away, so I wanted to write all over it.
ILM: Simpatico is released next week and it sounds just so fresh, kind of raw and better than ever. Can you tell me, of all the Simpatico tracks, which one did you have the most fun recording?
