Joker21SRB: ilikemusic because... It helps me relax and feel good. I can't imagine a day with no music
Sylvia Powell: ilikemusic because... It can make me happy yet it can make me feel sad. It helps me remember, but it can also make me forget. Most of all I like music because it makes me feel alive.
Rob X: ilikemusic because... it puts me in the mood...for anything i feel like!
Kai, Mystery Jets: ilikemusic because... Music makes me smile.
Alison Moyet: ilikemusic because... No one gets to choose mine for me.
Mylo: ilikemusic because... It makes me feel funny
Chris, Orson: ilikemusic because... Well, is there anything else? Music is the perfect thing, it makes you feel good, it makes you feel sad, it makes you feel happy, what else is there?
Jade: ilikemusic because... its amazing,, i always gotta listen to music, such as Nelly, Usher, T.I, ect if theres no music what else is there?
Master Gee: ilikemusic because... It gives me an opportunity to truly express myself, unlike what happens in an everyday living situation where there are restrictions on you and limitations on you and demands on you and bills to pay, through music I can truly be comfortable with who I am, and do what I really want to do and say what I really want to say.
TIM: I actually really enjoyed Dead Mans Eye and NYC really, because we had helicopters in Dead Mans Eye and the sound of New York in NYC, so it's just raucous rock. I don't know if any were particularly difficult to put down, because we kind of mapped it all out really, but I think by the end of it we were all a bit exhausted weren't we?
MARTIN: Yeah. I really enjoyed recording The Road To Paradise, because every time somebody put something new on it, it just built this total wall of sound, although, then again it sounds quite sparse, but it still blows me away now.
"I like music because… it can put me in a certain mood and it's better than Prozac."
MARTIN BLUNT, THE CHARLATANS
ILM: You've performed across the globe and are on tour the end of April and May. What's your current favourite song to play live and your favourite oldie?
TIM: Again it'd be Dead Mans Eye because it's a good live rock song. Old ones? I quite like Forever.
