The Cooper Temple Clause chat to I Like Music

So you've just got to stick to your guns and do it your own way. And get people around you, that you can you trust. Our manager is a friend of ours from school, and we know we can trust him implicitly, so that's very important as well.

ILM: The new album sees you (Daniel) and Tom having a greater role in vocals. Has that been a natural progression and an enjoyable experience?

DAN: Well it was something we'd done on the b-sides a lot and Chris suggested it. And musically there were things we'd done on the B-sides before and not on the album before and decided to implement this time round. From tracks like Take Comfort and the acoustic side and some more electronic ideas as well. Chris said to us 'you've got three guys who can sing, you've all got very different voices, you'd be fools to not use it and explore it,' so it was with his guidance and another way he wanted to challenge us. So it was quite tricky at times, quite a new thing for us, but I think it's worked out ok.
