JAMES: Yeah, I think we've found the hunger again. And it's good to hang around with all your mates again. It should be just a good laugh being in a band. I'm in a band to play music and have a laugh with my mates.
ILM: You've influenced many an aspiring band (not least the Arctic Monkeys). What's your advice to young musicians on succeeding in this industry?
JAMES: Don't listen to my advice. Just stay on your own path. Do what you think feels right to you. Then if you f*** up you can live with blaming yourself, but when someone f***s up for you… far better to f*** up yourself and live with your own mistakes.
