The Feeling chat to I Like Music
CIARAN: They were all fun. For me one of the ones I enjoyed most is partly to do with when we recording it but partly hearing the finished song in it's entirety - it's a song called This Time. When we recorded the track, it was fairly stripped down in terms of what we'd put down but then this opportunity arose to have this guy called Richard Gnarls to do a string arrangement for it so, it was fun to put the piano down, but when we actually heard the finished version, that was a great moment because he'd done this beautiful orchestral arrangement on it.
Then we went to Pinewood studios and heard that being put down and hearing the finished result was great, hearing an entire orchestra being added to one of the songs; that was great.
ILM: Did you witness any spooky goings on?
CIARAN: The main thing was this photo that I took in the main room where we'd been recording and this orb appeared in the photo, this giant ball that looked like it had electricity running through it, that was quite strange. We didn't really see anything other than that, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was properly haunted because of the history. For instance, one of Henry VIII old beds is in the house and Kev slept in that bed.
