Having just released their single Trauma Town, a perfectly formed nugget of jaunty indie pop, The Foxes show no sign of slowing down. Having toured with The Magic Numbers and The Animals they now count NME, XFM and Creation Records founder Alan McGee (who signed Oasis and Primal Scream) as fans. We caught up with lead singer Nigel admist their busy schedule, to chat about their music, how they work together and the best gig he has ever seen.

ILM: Can you give us your own personal description of the vibe of your new single Trauma Town?
Nigel: It's a personal adventure into melodic and guitar driving naked lunch.
ILM: You have been playing a number of awesome live dates, including numerous support slots. Out of all your live shows so far, is there one moment that stands out?
We're hoping to get out to SXSW next year but our 100 Club gigs are always fantastic - there's so much history in the place, a great sound system helps as well. Though playing with KT Tunstall at The Wickerman Festival was also quite a brilliant experience.
