The Hoosiers chat to I Like Music

ALFONSO: One of which is Mr A, who works it all out.

IRWIN: But he goes mad with his own power. Because he corrects everyone, but nobody wants to know their faults, because then the world becomes a very complicated place and less happy. So it's that thing of how everyone knows someone who knows too much.

ALFONSO: All wrapped up in a big fat pop tune.

ILM: Worried About Ray is another great tune. On the album, which track was the most fun to record?

IRWIN: Soul Exchange. [Laughs] It's a song that will probably never see the light of day, it might be a bside. It was just a mish mash, we threw everything at it, so there was a real feeling of freedom. We used strings, brass, percussion and some odd instruments… name some Martin; go!

MARTIN: Vacordotron Synth, Morumbabi…

IRWIN: And what's that string thing we used in Rabbit… Run Rabbit Run?

MARTIN: Dolcima Machino
