ILM: Why not?

Cedric: The audience are always predominantly guys and they tend to be drunk. They'll heckle you during really intimate moments. So we just don't showcase a lot of that. We had always threatened to make a simple record that is the opposite to all the other stuff. That's all it is. It's an opportunity to add slower, more moody songs to our set list. We tend to play a little over two hours, so it'll be nice for the band to get a break and play something slower! We also just wanted to try something like that you know? It's nice to change the formula.
