The Music Interview
ILM: You've been playing lots of gigs recently, most of which have sold out. Have you enjoyed being back on the road?
Rob: It has got better and better as it has gone on. Being away for so long and then coming back with a load of new songs meant we had a few confidence issues at the start. Now we are back into the whole live thing. It gave the hardcore fan base, who have stayed with us through the four years, a chance to listen to what we had done. From there, it gave us the stepping stones to start thinking bigger. The way it fell was that it was always Manchester and Glasgow on the Friday and Saturday. They were both really memorable gigs. I find playing Leeds quite a nervous gig because it's my home town. For some reason it sometimes seems stand offish. Manchester and Glasgow are always great.
