The Plain White T's chat to I Like Music
For almost a decade, the Plain White T's have been playing that perfect pop-punk punch to packed audiences in the USA. Their journey, which began in a small suburban basement playing covers, has taken the band on three US Warped Tours and landed them opening slots for bands like Jimmy Eat World and Panic! At the Disco. Call it hard work or call it destiny, one thing's for sure — the Plain White T's were put on this earth to entertain.
Their single is already riding high in the charts on downloads alone, as it is released physically in the UK on September 3rd 2007.
ilikemusic caught up with De'Mar from The Plain White T's to talk about Delilah, the song and the girl, playing smaller gigs in the UK and festival fun.
"I Like Music because… it's the only thing that I've actually ever been that good at doing and it's the one thing that drives me to keep on going."

ILM: Your new single, Hey There Delilah, is out this week (September 3rd). It's stunning. Can you tell us how the track came about and describe its whole vibe?
