Scott Gorham - Thin Lizzy - chats to I Like Music

It became a pretty easy thing for us, just to go out there and do the show. Phil's personality was able to really come across at that point on the record. Nobody had really heard him talk or joke with the audience or whatever on an album, because you don't do that on albums, but here was this guy and you were able to hear him messing with the audience telling jokes and seeing how one song filtered in to the next song. Tony Visconti did a really good job of mixing it also. He really captured what we were live. It was a nice combination of things that made it what it was.

ILM: Please can you describe the Thin Lizzy process of making darn good music?
