Trevor Nelson chats to I Like Music
The beautiful thing about music for me, I've always said it, no matter where you get to in life, you spend money on music and the amount of entertainment you get from that record for your life… they're cheap aren't they really?
It's as cheap as a night out at the cinema. You buy a cinema ticket and see a film for 90 minutes; you buy an album you get 100 hours out of it.
ILM: What music is your teenage daughter into? Have you influenced her musical taste?
TREVOR: My daughter essentially is a grime fan. She'll break down Dizzee, Kano, she'll breakdown BT Digital Music Awards, Wiley. But recently she bought Bloc Party's albums, and is expanding her horizons, which is brilliant, so she's a very rounded musical girl, so I'm very proud of her for that.
ILM: You're here at the BT Digital Music Awards, are you much of a web user?

Chuck, Simple Plan: ilikemusic because... It was always a way to escape whatever problems I was going through; whatever trouble I had, I could just put on a record or a song and feel better right away and I hope that our music can have the same effect on our fans.
