ILM: What music have you been listening to recently?

Trip: My drummer just introduced me to Bright Eyes, gave me all his albums. I'd never heard of the guy before and I'm absolutely obsessed with Bright Eyes! Lyrically he's like Bob Dylan, he's a folk rapper basically! The vulnerability to his voice, the fact that he can sum up in a sentence what takes most people a thousand pages to write! He's kind of taken over my world at the moment. I can't ride certain tube lines unless I've got certain Bright Eyes songs on my walkman. That's a bit OCDish I suppose. I'm a big dubstep and grime fan too. A lot of my mates do pirate stations, so I'm always introduced to new things through that. I'm very much into that. You know, from country and western and folk to things like that! Sometimes I delve into the past, I love The Damned and The Clash. But at the moment, it's Bright Eyes.
