ILM: Out of all the live gigs you've seen, which have been some of the most memorable?

Trip: I remember seeing Redman and Method Man at The Forum in Kentish Town. The crowd was just brilliant! I think Redman and Method Man have this niche in hip hop where it's not too gangster and it's not too tongue in cheek either. The crowd was just this mesh of different hip hop fans. Everyone was in there. Some rappers struggle slightly live, but these guys! The show they put on was just...I mean, they work off each other so well! They knew each other's lyrics inside out. You could see it. They were so confident. I walked away inspired. It was amazing. They were charming on stage! They had everyone eating out the palm of their hand. I'm really into Toddla T at the moment too. I think his sets are just on it. The way he mixes up punk, grime, dupstep and bashment.
