We The Kings Chat To I Like Music

Danny: It was real professional. We had recorded CD's before we got signed and this was just a different experience, really professional. They didn't tell us, they just gave suggestions. They asked us how we felt about things.

ILM: Which track did you have most fun with?

Hunter: I don't think there was a favourite. We always give the reference - that it's like picking your favourite child! You can't do it! We like all the songs on the CD. It is who we are, what we are about and how we want everyone to see us.

ILM: What is the We The Kings process of making music?

Hunter: I would say Trav comes up with a general idea.

Danny: On an accoustic guitar.

Hunter: So maybe it's just like La Da Da's or humming some kind of melody. We all live together so we are all in on the process. We hear what it is like from the beginning and we all put something in. Then we just jam it out and find our own parts.
