After releasing their debut album Kick and its defining single Love Is A Number in 2006 WRM returned with new material and a more mature and assured sound, drawing on influences from Echo And The Bunnymen and Generation X to Depeche Mode.

Having toured Europe, the US and Russia, including headlining a 33,000 festival in Ukraine, playing South X South West and Coachella, White Rose Movement unique sound earned them support slots with The Strokes, Soulwax, The Kills and Nine Inch Nails. ILM: How would you describe your sound?

White Rose Movement: We are just about to release our new double AA sided single. The A side Cigarette Machine sounds like Billy Idol and Elvis Presley crossed with kraut rock. Can and Neu. The AA side sounds like popcorn cooked with Blair Witch sound affects.
