Wolfmother chat to I Like Music

It's great, they always wanted to do a remix, so we were like 'well pick whatever you want to do and do it whenever you want.'

ILM: And it comes out sounding brilliant.

Chris: Yeah those guys are very talented indeed.

ILM: Your album hit the UK in April and had 'Hottest Record in the World' and a "Single of the Week" with Zane Lowe. Can you tell us which track you had the most fun to make?

Chris: It was lots of fun doing it. But one that I particularly liked was in Tales from the Forest of Gnomes. We did the first run through and got the drums down and we were all in there together, and then we separated a bit and did different parts, and there was a really good moment when I'd been playing around with a melotron and trying to get this really nice chord progression for the chorus and we'd just laid it down. And Marty just popped in to see what we were doing, and Andrew was saying, 'I've got this new vocal melody for that bit,' and we were playing back the melotron bit and he was singing this new bit and we were like 'Far out! That's so connected. Like we'd independently done these things and then when it came together it was like, 'that's great, that's perfect.'
