Reverend And The Makers chat to I Like Music
ILM: Yeah, the majority do understand… State of Things and Armchair Detective and all of your songs… I think there's a jealousy when, if something's really good, for some reason some people won't write anything nice about you; there's this snobbery within music journalism.
JON: Yeah, I think there's something really sad about the fact that men in their 40s can turn kids on and off music. I find that ridiculous. Essentially, a lot of young kids read these magazines and they're just putting people off with their music snobbery opinions and often these people are 40 year old blokes and it's like what relation have you got to 15 year old kids who are into music for the first time.

Jun: ilikemusic because... music can convey a mood, enhance a mood or change a mood. Music can be used to inspire and the artform is simple yet complicated. It's fun to listen to and even more fun to create and perform. It speaks when just a simple word can't. It's a blessing!!
