Reverend And The Makers chat to I Like Music

It's like what you were saying about your editorial policy at ilikemusic.com. If you don't like something, don't slag it off. Be positive man.

ILM: Yeah totally, because people should be able to make up their own minds and everyone's different and people like so many different types of people, it's less tribal these days. We all have an eclectic taste in music… I like stuff you might not like and vice versa, so who am I to slate something you think is ace?

JON: Yeah. It's funny, what gets to me is when a big established band comes back with an album that's rubbish, the music press have to give it positive reviews, because of the size of the band and because they know it'll sell lots of copies, even though the album itself is rubbish. I believe in fairness in all things. But can it be fair when your hand's forced to say good things about big bands that are rubbish?
