There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.

Oasis add extra date to tour

Oasis have added another date to their UK stadium tour next summer.

They have already sold 330,000 tickets for dates in Glasgow, Milton Keynes and Manchester City FC's new City Of Manchester Stadium.

The band play Southampton Rose Bowl Stadium on July 6. The announcement comes ten years after the band last played in the city, at the Southampton Guildhall on November 30 1994.

Tickets go on-sale on Saturday December 4 and cost £32.50 plus booking fee.
