Alanis Morissette

Alanis Morissette will follow next Monday's release of her singles album 'The Collection' with an exclusive and intimate performance at London's King's College on Tuesday, 15th November.

The King's College gig represents her first UK show in eighteen months. Tickets are on sale now at a price of £25.

Handpicked by Alanis herself, the tracklisting of 'The Collection' features her biggest hits such as 'Ironic', 'Thank U' and 'Hand In My Pocket' as well as personal favourites and rarer material including 'Mercy' (from 'The Prayer Cycle' album) and her interpretation of 'Let's Do It, Let's Fall In Love' (from the film 'De-Lovely').

The album will be supplemented with a new track in the form of a remarkable interpretation of Seal's worldwide smash 'Crazy'. 'Crazy' was debuted with a performance at the recent World Music Awards.

"It was a torturous challenge to come up with the songs for this collection record," commented Alanis. "Ultimately, I put this collection record together to have something to show my great-grandkids one day, and to reflect with objectivity on my own evolution as a writer and singer."

Alanis has recently performed a handful of dates as special guests to the Rolling Stones in New York.
