Set to be released on 24th August 2009, Arctic Monkeys have revealed details of their forthcoming third album.
Currently untitled, the album is the follow up to 2007's Favourite Worst Nightmare and their 2006 debut, the Mercury Prize winning Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, now quadruple platinum in the UK.
The third album from the Sheffield band will be released five days before their headline slot at Reading and Leeds Festival 2009.
Part produced by Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, the album was recorded throughout 2008 and 2009 in a number of locations including Los Angeles, New York and the Mojave Desert.
