The ever-innovative Audio Bullys are set to release their new single Dope Fiend as a very special limited edition comic book based around the track's lyrics. Featuring vocals from Mad George, a long time Audio Bullys cohort, the single is taken from their forthcoming Sunday Night Fever album, which is due to drop early next year, and will be released on December 1st 2009.
Drawn by Brighton based illustrator Mark Hooley, Sunday Night Fever Chronicles - Episode One is based on the single's lyrics, telling the tale of a typically debauched adventure in the life of our eponymous dope fiend, stretching from the early night buzz, right through to the Monday morning blues.
