BT Digital Music Awards: Nominations announced for UKs only awards dedicated to digital music

Last year over half a million voters logged on to the official website and made their vote count in the UK's only awards dedicated to digital music entertainment. The awards are supported by the BPI, the UK's record trade association, the Official UK Charts Company, Phonographic Performance Ltd, The Mobile Entertainment Forum and the Association of Independent Music - a non-profit trade organisation for independent record companies and distributors in the UK.

'The People's Choice Awards' have been extended this year to include a brand new category for Best Music Blog. People running websites or blogs can simply visit the official DMA website, collect a voting button and encourage their users to vote. Five of the awards, including, Best Innovation, Best Use of Mobile and Best Artist Promotion will be judged by the panel alone.
