BT Digital Music Awards 2007 Launch
The BT Digital Music Awards 2007 launched on Friday with chart topper Mutya Buena playing to a live audience at Spitalfields in London.
Celebrating the opening of the voting for three of the most sought after awards at the BT DMAs - the People's Choice Awards - Mutya was joined by five unknown acts who were selected to play after winning the BT Total Broadband search for new talent.
Log on now to www.btdma.com and you can nominate your website for a BT Digital Music Award in one of the three People's Choice categories. Best Unofficial Music Site and Best Music Blog are open to music fans that create and develop their own online music presence and Best Official Music Site is open to music professionals and recognises the official online homes of recording artists, music events, music news, record companies and more all around the world.
This year's BT Digital Music Awards will be held on the 2nd October at the legendary Camden Roundhouse, where the People's Choice winners will be announced. The awards show, which recognises and rewards cutting-edge digital music entertainment, will be screened on Channel 4 and pre-promoted via a series of 15-minute programmes dedicated to digital music on T4.
