The BT Digital Music Awards shortlist has been announced and the public are encouraged to go online and vote at the official website www.btdma.com
Held at the London Roundhouse on October 1st and broadcast on Channel 4, the awards celebrate a diverse range of artists and music-industry professionals for their ability to utilise digital media in a way that is both interactive, forward thinking and engaging.
This years nominations not only celebrate artists and their music with categories such as Best Pop, Rock/Indie, Urban and Electronic Artist, but also push forward the aspects of the online world that captivate millions with Best Podcast, Best Music Community and Best Music Store categories amongst others.
The BTDMAs remain the UK's only awards that are completely dedicated to digital music entertainment, and as the market continues to grow and become more important to both fans and the industry alike, this year's show on October 1st should prove to be the biggest and boldest yet.
