BT Digital Music Awards Talent Search

BT has announced a search for the best new talent to win an opportunity to play to a live audience in the cities of London or Manchester in the run up to the eagerly anticipated BT Digital Music Awards in October 2007

For all unsigned bands, wannabe solo artists or up and coming DJs, this unique opportunity from BT Total Broadband to be heard by thousands of music fans at one of two exclusive outdoor gigs is designed to provide a platform for local talent to show what they are really made of and cause a stir in their local community.

As part of the initiative, artists and bands from all genres of music are invited to visit www.btdma.com and upload a track onto the BT Digital Music Awards website. All entries will be downloaded and judged by an expert panel who will then select the winners. With 15 bands being selected to perform, this is a great opportunity for artists of any age to get involved and share their talent.

On 10th and 12th August BT will be bringing local talent to London where bands will perform alongside chart topper Mutya Buena as she performs her latest single 'Real Girl' along with others from her debut album. On 7th and 8th of September the search moves north to central Manchester where a selection of bands will perform in front of crowds at the fantastic venue of The Great Northern.
