Natasha Bedingfield and Muse Scoop BT Digital Music Awards

The winners of the BT Digital Music Awards 2007, the UK's only awards dedicated to digital music entertainment, were announced last night (Tuesday 2nd October). Hundreds of musicians, celebrities and music industry professionals (including the ilikemusic.com team) flocked last night to Camden's legendary Roundhouse, where Sara Cox announced hosted the ceremony and announced the winners.

Natasha Bedingfield, who performed her latest single 'Say It Again' on stage, walked away with 'Best Pop Artist'. Digital stalwarts The Chemical Brothers were awarded the gong for 'Best Electronic Artist or DJ' beating newer artists like Just Jack and Calvin Harris

Funeral for a Friend surpassed all expectations winning 'Artist of the Year' despite stiff competition from Razorlight, Rihanna and Bloc Party. Muse and Lemar both walked away as winners from the awards as they did last year - with Muse winning 'Best Rock/Indie Artist' and Lemar beating off competition from Beverley Knight and Lethal Bizzle to win 'Best Urban Artist'.

Other winners on the night included Ludacris for 'Best Mobile Campaign', Keane for 'Best Official Website', NME.com for 'Best Music Magazine'. Hospital Records' London Elektricity for 'Best Audio Podcast'. New award 'Best Music Hardware' was won by Vocalist Live 2 - an innovative processor that generates live multi-part vocal harmonies by analysing guitar chord progressions.
