Kevin Michael: ilikemusic because... I’ve been singing my entire life. I cannot go without listening to it or singing for a day. I wake up to it, I go to sleep to it, I am music.
Uyi: ilikemusic because... its relaxing, soothing and its food for the body mind and soul!
Jo Whiley: ilikemusic because... It makes me laugh and it makes my cry and it gets me out of a stress if I’m in a stress, and, if I’m in a good place then it will make me in a better place. It’s all about the emotion, it’s all about the feeling where music takes you to and what affect it has on you.
Jacbob: ilikemusic because... It's very VERY good
David Jordan: ilikemusic because... It makes me feel good and it puts me in a happy mood.

Estelle: ilikemusic because... It enables me to get my feelings out and it’s borderline therapy for me. Music makes me feel.
Sam, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly: ilikemusic because... Music is a special thing that is not like anything else in the world. You might argue that you can translate emotions through films and through books but anyone can make music, whether that be humming or singing along to the radio, it’s something that gives enjoyment and positivity to many people.

Last year, Beyonce knocked Shakira off the top of the chart with Deja Vu ending the three-week reign of Hips Don't Lie.
Arctic Monkeys' Brianstorm single climbed from number 11 to number two, while Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend single stayed at number four. Mark Ronson's Stop Me single climbed to number five. Ne*Yo's Because Of You claimed sixth position, followed by
Natasha Bedingfield at number seven with I Wanna Have Your Babies.
Meanwhile, in the UK album chart, Avril Lavigne's third album, The Best Damn Thing, went straight in at number one, followed by Mark Ronson's Version album, (an album of cover versions featuring the likes of Lily Allen, Robbie Williams and Amy Winehouse covering other people's songs) in at number two.
Other new entries in the album chart included Nine Inch Nails' Year Zero, in at number six and Tiesto with Elements Of Life in at number 14.
