British Sea Power Will Play Natural History Museum on 21st June

Ever wondered what it would be like to dance next to a Tyrannosaurus Rex or pull some shapes with Pterodactyl's suspended above your head? Well now is your chance to find out…

Brighton based indie four piece British Sea Power will be playing a prestigious live show at London's Natural History Museum on Saturday 21st June as part of a festival of architecture and music. The band will be performing with taxidermy, dinosaurs and beer bar, all in front of a selection of films from the museum archives.

This all comes as the museum joins up with the London Festival of Architecture which takes place along the length of Exhibition Road, where the National History Museum is located.

This is not the first time that British Sea Power have performed their blend of indie-rock in a strange location. After releasing their first record in 2001 on their own Golden Chariot label, the band caused a real stir with their explosive live performances. Previous performance locations include by the sea on the Scilly Isles and underground in a Cornish slate mine. For your chance to catch BSP at their next wonderfully odd gig, get yourself along to the museum on the 21st June. Doors open at 7.30pm but only the first 600 will be let in.

British Sea Power are playing a number of live dates in 2008- search for tickets HERE
