Calvin Harris and David Guetta Top Charts

Calvin Harris has topped the UK album chart with his second album Ready For The Weekend. The Scottish electro-dance star went straight to the top of the charts with his latest release, knocking Michael Jackson's album The Essential from the top spot.

After spending an impresisve seven weeks at number one following the global superstar's death, The Essential dropped to chart at number six this week.

Tinchy Stryder scored the second highest entry in the UK album chart this week, as his album Catch 22 entered the charts at number two. This was followed by Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce at number three, Black Eyed Peas latest album The End at number four and second album from Paolo Nutini, Sunny Side Up, completeing the top five.

The UK singles chart was topped this week by David Guetta, who scored his second number one of the year with the track Sexy Bitch featuring Akon.

Black Eyed Peas followed at number two with their single I Gotta Feeling. Tinchy Stryder charted at number three with Never Leave You featuring Sugababe Amelle, Calvin Harris followed at four with the title track from his number one album and Beyonce charted at number five with Sweet Dreams.

The only new entry within the Top 20 singles chart this week came from Esmee Denters and her debut single Outta Here, which charted at number seven. Previously a pancake waitress, Esmee was discovered working in her native Holland by Justin Timberlake, who went on to co-produce her debut album.
