Chipmunk and Barbara Streisand Top Charts!

18-year old rapper Chipmunk sits proudly atop the UK singles chart this week with his track Oopsy Daisy, which made its chart debut at number one.

Previous singles from the MOBO award winning rapper are Chip Diddy Chip, which charted at number 21, and Diamond Rings, which peaked at number six earlier this year.

Chipmunk, aka Jahmaal Fyffe from Tottenham North London, prevented The Saturdays from reaching number one. Their single Forever Is Over charted at number two this week.

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys fell to three with Empire State Of Mind, while last week's number one, Break Your Heart by Taio Cruz, charted at number four. The top five was completed by David Guetta's track Sexy Chick.

Whitney Housten made her first appearance in the singles chart since 2002 this week, debuting at number 12 with her new single Million Dollar Bill.

Barbra Streisand topped the UK album chart this week with her album Love Is The Answer. Having charted at four last week, the US singer rose to the top spot, knocking Paramore from number one.
