Three of Crisis' own homeless members also feature on the track - playing guitars and piano - after successfully auditioning in an X-factor style competition overseen by Crisis officials.
The superband was put together by Crisis ambassador Pearl Lowe, following the success of the Pudstock benefit gig in January 2007.
The record release was prefigured by a live gig at the Roundhouse in early March. Consequences Live saw members of the superband - plus Dirty Pretty Things and Reverend & The Makers - perform a live and exclusive rendition of the track, alongside their own material.
