Crisis Release 'Consequences' Collaborative Supergroup Charity Record feat. Paul Weller, Beth Ditto, Graham Coxon, New Young Pony Club...
All profits from the record will go to Crisis. The money raised will go towards supporting Crisis' work with homeless people, including music and arts projects which enable our members to acquire new skills, gain qualifications, and find employment. These, consequently, empower people to transform their lives. Crisis believes that supportive learning and skills projects are essential to help homeless people fulfill their potential and find routes out of homelessness.
Consequences is proudly sponsored by Drinkaware the UK's leading consumer facing responsible drinking charity, whose objectives are to positively change the national drinking culture in order to reduce alcohol misuse and minimise alcohol related harm.
Andy Page, Head of Fundraising at Crisis, said: "Consequences is a pioneering record based on a concept that is particularly relevant to the cause and to the lives of many of those we help. Without a pre-written score, it musically embodies the idea that life - like the record - can unravel in unpredictable ways and the dividing line between success and catastrophe is often fine and precarious. Fortunately, Consequences is a pop triumph, and we hope that it will be judged on its own terms, not as another footnote in the well-worn charity track genre."
