'If we get our Visa's we're supposed to be going to America next week. In the Autumn we're planning to work on a new album. We are starting to look for more material and researching old songs. We don't have a studio. I live in the middle of Northumberland in a farm house and we often work there. Me and Becky kind of find songs and work on them and then bring them to the band. We try and describe the story through the music as best we can, that's our aim anyway. For us, just being part of this is amazing. We were sat next to Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. She came up to me and told me she liked my dress!'
Adele performed a moving accoustic version of Crazy For You, and notably recieved the biggest collection of applause, whoops and cheers, when she finished to a captivated audience.
'I've had a good evening. I usually don't like award ceremonies. I just feel awkward. but this is on another level. It kind of means a lot more. It's not affected by videos and youtube-ness. That's why I love it. You get completely obscure artists and then major artists and old school ones too.'
