Relapse knocked Greenday's 21st Century Breakdown from the top spot, causing them to chart at number two this week. This was followed by the Manic Street Preachers latest album Journal For Plague Lovers which charted at number three. Lily Allen's It's Not Me It's You and The Liberty of Norton Folgate by Madness charted at four and five respectively.
Dizzee Rascal topped the UK singles charts for the second time in his career with single Bonkers. Following on from former number one Dance Wiv Me, which spent four weeks at the top, Bonkers knocked Black Eyed Peas' former number one Boom Boom, down to number two. Both Bonkers and Boom Boom have become the fastest selling releases of 2009 so far.
Tinchy Stryder featuring N-Dubz charted at number three with Number 1, followed by Eminem's single We Made You which stuck at number four. Daniel Merriweather entered the singles chart at number five with new single Red.
The 2009 Eurovision Song Contest winner Alexander Rybak, who won for Norway with the track Fairytale, entered the UK singles chart at number 10 on downloads alone. A huge hit across Europe, Fairytale is the first Eurovision winning track to make it into the UK Top 10 for 12 years.
