Flaming Lips and Chuck Berry headline Camp Bestival 2008

CAMP BESTIVAL
18 - 19 - 20 July 2008 - Lulworth Castle, Dorset

Well the Bestival Bluecoats have been busy getting our groundbreaking new show "Camp Bestival' rocking for its debut in July 2008 and what better way to kick off then with an early line up announcement that's gonna blow away those winter cobwebs and get you buzzing about the summer ahead.

But remember Camp Bestival's not just about the music - it's the first festival to fully cater for people who love the whole camping experience, tailored for families and kids of all ages and folk who are just as happy lolling about in their own camp whiling away lazy afternoons or getting stuck into one of the many choices of fun and entertaiment - from Come Dancing dance classes, knocking up a scarf in the world's first Knitting Tent, storytelling around campfires or performing your own Spoken Word on one of our open stages.

However, the music will be of excellent proportions and jumping straight attcha is God like Genius Chuck Berry - the man who pretty much invented Rock N Roll guitar. He'll be settling the Main Stage alight on Friday night for a legendary performance. Celebrating his 81st year the critically acclaimed lyricist will be waxing the classics and getting the spirit of Johnny B Goode rocking Lulworth Castle for a UK festival exclusive - not to be missed!
